We have discussed HSBC savings accounts here on Smart Savings 101, but we have not discussed the HSBC checking account.  While the HSBC checking accounts are not high interest savings accounts, we thought that we had to tell our readers about the HSBC checking account $25 bonus.

From now until June 15, HSBC will give you $25 if you open a checking account with them.  The first requirement is the you open your account online.  This is not a problem because the HSBC online banking is great.  The HSBC online banking website is very easy to use and intuitive.
