Washington Mutual CD Rates

Washington Mutual CD rates are very competitive.  Washington Mutual offers four types of certificates of deposit.  WaMu has a traditional CD, a liquid CD, a online CD, and a Retirement CD.

The Washington Mutual traditional CD has a $1,000 minimum deposit to open.  This traditional CD can be purchased with a term beginning with one month.  As you increase the term of your CD, the washington mutual CD rates increase.  The one month $25,000 CD has an annual percentage yield of 1.15%.  The 10 year $25,000 CD has an annual percentage yield of 3.35%.

The Washington Mutual liquid CD allows you to withdrawal certain deposits as long as you keep the minimum balance of $5,000.  This is an interesting certificate of deposit because you have more flexibility to withdrawal funds.  This Washington Mutual CD gives you a way to achieve high interest rate savings with flexibility traditionally found in ING Direct savings accounts.

The washington mutual online CD is an online alternative to the the WaMu traditional CD.  If you are comfortable with an online only bank, I high encourage you to check out this online CD option.  Like the traditional CD, this WaMU CD has a $1,000 minimum to open.

If you are looking for the best CD rates, you should definitely check out the Washington Mutual CD rates.
